Abbaesque & DJ Ger

Super Trouper, Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Chiquitita...can you hear yourself singing along already?! Join us in the expanded Maplewood Marquee for a fantastic night of live music and dancing with Abbaesque, one of Ireland's favourite tribute bands. DJ Ger will also be on hand to keep you on the dance floor!
Bar (subject to licence) and hot food will be available at the venue.
Doors open 7.30PM. Tickets are just €20 and are available online by clicking below and from local shops in Enniskerry. Strictly 18+.
Victorian Field Day
Sunday 8th September - 11AM to 5PM
Adults €10, Kids & Parking FREE.
This year's Victorian Field Day will be the biggest yet! We have a greatly expanded kids area, with loads of bouncy castles, inflatable obstacle courses, bungee trampolines, fairground, pony rides, kids races, games, face painting and much, much more!
There's plenty to keep the young-at-heart occupied too! Browse the Craft & Art Fair, watch sheepdog duck herding (yes!), admire the vintage cars, enjoy the music and dancing, dine at the food village, or watch the Soapbox Derby, to mention just a few! See below for more details.
FIELD DAY EVENTS
Craft Fair:
Maplewood marquee, 11am - 5pm
Located in the Maplewood Marquee, the Craft & Art Fair welcomes many new exhibitors this year. With a wide range of art & crafts ranging from trinkets to serious artworks, there should be something to appeal to all tastes and budgets.
Kids Soapbox Slalom:
Festival arena, 11am - 5pm
Sadly the Soapbox Race has been cancelled this year for insurance reasons. However, all is not lost! Come and see some of the fabulous soapbox designs and under 12s can even take an assisted ride through the slalom course.
Community games races:
Festival arena, 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Fantastic fun with a competitive edge for children of all ages! Novelty and traditional races organised by Enniskerry Community Games. To enter, simply show up!
Dog show:
Festival arena, 2.00pm - 4.30pm
Great fun for dogs and dog lovers of all ages, shapes and sizes! Registration in the Kids Games section of the Maplewood Marquee from 12pm to 1.45pm, with competitions starting at 2pm. Entry €3 per class.
Classes include:
- Most Obedient Dog
- Best Rescue Dog
- Dog With the waggle still Tail
- Best working Dog
- Best Dressed Dog (fancy Dress)
- Best Small Dog
- Most likely to take home Dog
...and many more.
All first and Second placed Dogs go back to the arena to get judged for Dog of the Show.

The "Kids Area" is the biggest ever! Here's some of this year's attractions:

Vintage car display:
Festival arena, 11am - 5pm
We expect to have up to fifty fabulous vintage cars on display from enthusiasts including members of the Bray Vintage Car club.

We have lots more activities and attractions for young and old!
- Wonky car: can you parallel park the wonky car...it's harder than it looks!
- Archery: test your aim under the watchful eye of some crack archers!
- Falconry: see beautiful birds of prey with the Irish Hawking Club.
- Duck-herding sheepdog demonstration: yes, you read right...to see is to believe!
- Mini-farm: the cutest farm animals with thanks to Kia Ora.
- Sheaf-pitching: fancy yourself with a caber...well why not start with some sheaf-pitching!
- Vintage kitchen: food for (nogistalgic!) thought!!
Victorian Best Dressed:
Festival arena, 4pm - 5pm
Where are your Victorian outfits? Find them, brush them down, come to the festival and WIN! To enter, please register with Jenny in the Kids Games section of the Maplewood marquee. Winners announced at 5PM.

Bucking bronco:

How long can you hold on? We'll really put your equestrian skills to the test!
Food village:

We are delighted to welcome some of the countries best craft food producers. Whether sweet or savoury, every possible taste is catered for in the Food Village. So no matter what else happens, you won't go home hungry or thirsty!!
We are delighted to introduce the Festival Tea Rooms this year, located in the Maplewood Marquee.
Art competition:
Maplewood Marquee, 11am - 5pm
The competition to find Enniskerry's best artists, in 3 different age groups ranging from age 4 to 13, has been launched through local schools. We will display the entries in the Maplewood Marquee and announce the winners at 2pm. If you need an entry form just email enniskerryfestival@gmail.com. Closing date for entries is 30th August.
Spot kick:
Festival arena, 11am - 5pm
Fancy yourself as a Ronaldo or Messi?! Can you take home the winner's trophy? Put your soccer skills to the test at the festival Spot Kick.
